Version History :
The exiles of Silverymoon is a quest mod that adds a contact with a mysterious new group. The chance to get a lot of new encounters throughout the game in well-known places but also in new places since the mod offers a new fully customized area. The quest will start automatically when you start a new game as long as you have a neutral or evil alignment (for consistency reasons I was forced to do so). The mod takes 1140 lines, what fun you could experience for a while and as you might notice a number of characters were doubled (129 replies in total). So much for the small description, I wish you a pleasant playing and I hope that this first version will make you want to play with the new that will see the day...
** It is VERY highly recommended that you install the latest available patch for Baldur's Gate II - Throne of Bhaal. If you own Throne of Bhaal, please note that you do not need to patch Shadows of Amn. **
** The installation of BG2 Fixpack of Gibberlings Three is, as well, strongly recommended. **
** I remind you that the expansion Throne of Bhaal is needed to take advantage of the Exiles of Silverymoon. **
Detailed Instructions :
1. Ensure that no software using the resources of Baldur's Gate II is running. This includes the game itself, utilities as NearInfinity or ShadowKeeper and the installation of another mod.
2. Extract the archive.
3. Click Setup - Devin.exe
and let Weidu do its job!
4. Now, pleasant playing!
After nearly two months of testing, The exiles of Silverymoon are finally ready! There is currently no known bug beside the weapon reserved to half-orcs that can also be used by humans (hardcoded - I did not find a stable solution for the moment). Beside that, the mod is compatible with dungeon be gone
.
If you ever need to contact me, be it just to congratulate me, to receive a hand for one of the quests of the mod, to ask a question, to volunteer to translate this mod, or to report a bug, here's where you can find me :
The forum of LÉGENDES, the francophone modding community, where The exiles of Silverymoon has its discussion forum. Members do not bite, you'll see ;). It is by this way that I would prefer that you contact me since other players could then easily get a solution to their problems by searching the forum of The Exiles of Silverymoon.
You can always email me at this address !
I will be happy to help and answer you.
I would especially like to thank Cool Coyote, phoeunix and Rigel that helped me to take my first steps in modding
and supported me all along. Deratiseur for his highly creative kit without which the mod would not exist. A big thank you as well to Zranoff who
highly facilitated the work of the end and will always impress me by his mastery of WeiDU.
I surely also thank the Légendes community without which, I know, I could have never got done with my mod. In this space I found a real creative group always ready to help each other way more far than the snobbish image that programmers often wear.
Finally, I thank all those who, to a more or less extent, contributed by their moral and technical support to get done with this mod : Cargolin, Isaya, Akadis, Lucretia or Graoumf to name a few.

I do not have access to the new city, is this normal ?
It depends. If you refused to follow Jackomo or Devin at one point or another you do not actually get (or no more) access to the new city. An
alternative component is planned, it will be released in a few months and let you explore a new part of the history.
I want to recruit Bardick but I can not, is this normal ?
Yes, this is normal. It was indeed a question in my early to recruit Bardick but as the contruction I saw things differently
and now I think it's slightly more interesting to develop him as a non recuitable character. As you will see in the next versions,
I hope...
Where is Sidge ?
Sidge is by Renal Bloodscalp in the basement. And he's a.... THIEF ! It seems logical, right ?
I love the area musics you set, where did you get it ?
Well, actually it's black metal ! Thus wild music... And it's not the worse in its genre, the band is called Cradle of Filth and are archi known,
finally, for rans at least.... The musics are intros to their songs, namely :
I HATE the area musics you set, where did you get them ?
Well, Fuck off !! No, seriously, if the musics displease you, best would be that we discuss together. I always
like the criticism, be it positive or negative. So do not hesitate and contact me!
